Meet McKenzee Garrison: a dedicated dance studio owner, instructor, and choreographer with a lifelong passion for dance and a heart for helping others. Raised in Linden, McKenzee began her dance journey at the age of 4, dreaming of one day becoming a dance teacher. By 13, she was already assisting with choreography and teaching, immersing herself in the studio to pursue her passion.

Growing up in a small town, McKenzee found her calling extended beyond dance. She pursued higher education and graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, driven by a desire to empower individuals facing physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges. This unique blend of dance and therapy inspired her to open her own dance studio in 2020, where she integrates therapeutic principles into her classes. McKenzee's approach focuses on enhancing balance, coordination, strength, and endurance, enriching her students' lives both on and off the dance floor.

One of McKenzee's proudest achievements is the "Dance-ability" program she initiated, offering free classes, costumes, and shoes to children and young adults with disabilities. Supported by generous sponsors, this program ensures inclusivity and removes financial barriers, allowing all participants to experience the joy of dance.

In addition to her studio commitments, McKenzee leads her students in competitive dance, showcasing their talent across various states. Her students have garnered numerous accolades, scholarships, and lifelong opportunities under her guidance.

Beyond her professional roles, McKenzee enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Her favorite color is pink, Halloween tops her list of holidays, and she delights in Mexican cuisine and diet drinks. She loves to read and is a podcast enthusiast. McKenzee also finds inspiration for her choreography during her daily drives.

Outside her studio, McKenzee serves as a middle school career coach and continues to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, balancing her roles as a wife and mother with unwavering dedication.
